Ordinary Objects Becoming Unusual Surprises
Mark Jenkin's Street Art takes various normal elements which are found in the urban environment and alters them to provide surprises to locals.
The Little People Street Art Project also brings unique elements to an ordinary environment.
The Gun Control Alliance is committed to enhancing public safety by reducing the number of guns in South Africa society through stricter gun control.
For one of its campaigns in 2000, the association had installed on university campuses and shopping malls several vending machines that sell guns. A simple and direct way to demonstrate how easy it is to get hold of a gun in South Africa. The money collected was used to support the activities of the gun-free society.

Semapedia is a project which uses semacode nodes to connect Wikipedia articles with their relevant place in physical space.Placing physical semapedia tags on real-world objects allows people with smartphones to use their built-in cameras to decode the Wikipedia-URL from the semacode.
